The bamboo weaving produced is unique in shape, exquisite and delicate, and durable in use. The materials used in Daoming bamboo weaving are long and soft, with unique craftsmanship, interspersed with various techniques, and have a distinctive style. They are divided into flat bamboo weaving and three-dimensional bamboo weaving with clear patterns, rich colors and exquisite technique.

Crafting: when weaving products, craftsmen generally follow the three processes of bottoming, weaving and locking step by step. In the weaving process, warp and weft weaving is the main method. On the basis of warp and weft weaving, various techniques are also interspersed, such as sparse weaving, inserting, threading, cutting, locking, nailing, tying, covering, etc., so that the patterns produced are varied. Products that need to be matched with other colors, the bamboo slices or bamboo threads are traditionally dyed with natural plants and grasses, and then inserted and twisted to form a variety of bright and lively patterns with strong color contrast.

Ornamental Qualities: The two-dimensional bamboo weaving mainly composed of calligraphy and painting is highly appreciated by literati and refined scholars. Three-dimensional bamboo weaving for decoration, packaging, or artistic modeling for decoration, as well as small tourist souvenirs, etc. are the most commonly seen bamboo products in Daoming.
