1.    The Weekend Market
Not everything is outside. You are recommended to explore to your most while at Songxianqiao Antique Market. There are more than one floors of the market. On weekend there are usually more people as it is a common conduct that people will come here by weekends especially people with interests of any antiques. Although it is called an antique market, you can actually find more things than antiques such as paintings, pots, jades, ambers, beads, woodcarves, bronzewares, porcelains, stamps, old books, etc. The best thing about this place is that it is not for tourists but rather for local people. And things are not generally “overpriced” as things in Jinli or Kuanzhai Alley. Note that it is not just on weekends although by weekends there will be more people and shops open.

2.    Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy

Ever thought about to have something cool to take home while travel to China? These Chinese paintings and calligraphy are definitely something you can consider. The shops are on the second floor and when you walk in there you will see a place full of shops own by actual artists! These calligraphies were made by these educated senior people and they don’t put a high price on their works. You can normally have good deals on the things you buy and they are really nice calligraphies! Other than these if you are collectors of certain things, you can also explore here no matter you are looking for pens, watches, stamps, etc.

3.    Fine Tibetan Artcrafts
On the third floor there are some shops selling very expensive Tibetan art crafts.

4.    Wooden and Stone Art Crafts
There are people doing the crafts all day inside and selling them. These shops are located on the second floor also.

5.    Around Songxianqiao Antique Market
Sichuan Provincial Museum is next to the Market: 200m southwest to Songxianqiao Market. The provincial museum is open except Monday, exhibiting potteries, bronzes, ethnic cultures. 
Dufu’s Thatched Cottage is right next to Sichuan Museum to its west. Dufu's Cottage is a museum featuring one of the most renowned poets in Chinese Literature History. South to the Dufu's is the largest park of Chengdu: Huanhuaxi Park.
Qingyang Taoist Temple is located 700m east to Songxianqiao Market. Qingyang Taoist Temple (Temple of Green Lamp) is the number one Taoist Temple in around Chengdu.
